Class Expectations
• Be on time! (Be in your seat before the bell rings.)
• Bring all your required materials to class with you.
• Be Attentive! Pay Attention! Learn Something!
• Ask sensible questions at appropriate times!
• Read about and watch Science outside of class – bring in unique newspaper articles and clips for the board.
• Go to the bathroom before class.
• Follow all lab rules and safety regulations.
• Computer lab rules apply at all times. Misbehavior in the computer lab could result in loss of ALL Computer privileges for the year.
• DO YOUR OWN WORK!
• Help those around you.
• Do your Best! Have Fun!
Grading Procedures
• You will get credit for each assignment.
• You may get a grade for each assignment.
• Your assignments are due on the date assigned.
• Late assignments will be accepted for less than normal credit, depending on circumstances. (See school policy)
• Make-up tests given the next day you’re in school.
• You will keep a science notebook and it will be checked randomly for a grade.
• Remember, parents have the ability to check your grade and assignments on-line via the internet.
Required Items
• You are required to bring your planner and notebook to class every day.
• You are expected to keep track of assignments, reminder notes, etc.
• Your planner goes home every night to be seen by, and signed by your parent(s).
• Pencil
• 8 count color pencils
Notebook paper / Notebook
• Ruler with inches and centimeters
